Dying man ties the knot

A dying man and his girlfriend will get their dream marriage because of a host of Plymouth businesses and a mystery benefactor. A kind hearted woman took to job of arranging the wedding ceremony after reading a heartbreaking story of Stephen May in The Herald, but still she wanted to stay anonymous. Stephen May now has 2 more years to live.

The twenty seven year old man and his girlfriend Rachel Joce, who hails from, told that it was her best Christmas gift. On Thursday, The Herald reported that in October, Stephen has been diagnosed with a brain tumor and she has just 2 more years in his hand.

Stephen and Rachel got engaged in 2006’s Christmas Day. But in spite of the devastating news, their first priority was to tie the knot. Unfortunately, they did not have much money to arrange a wedding party.

After going through Stephen May’s story in the newspaper, a city resident thought to help them in arranging their special day. The wedding has inspired several local businesses to offer their services for free to give them a day that they would not forget. Only 5 weeks ago, Rachel gave birth to their second child. She told that she is in shock and fully overwhelmed. She seriously could not believe the generosity of the people. She added that this wedding is the best Christmas gift she has ever had.
